#1: Climbing Club is in its second year as a club now and they are looking to expand this year. The club was started originally by Ben Mohler and Ian Cobb and last year they climbed a lot inside and met every wednesday. This year, Climbing Club has now expanded to include both the girls and boys division. Mrs. Vela said that "We are hoping to go outside [to climb] at some point". I also interviewed the "Brain Child" behind this club, Ben Mohler. This year he told me that they used school funds to buy equipment and pre paid passes to go climbing every wednesday after school. They all go to the Rock and Jam which is the local climbing gym in Parker.

Comic Book Club
#1: Comic Book Club is a new club at Regis Jesuit that was started by Nick Forester. Mrs. Grey moderates the club and also happens to be very fond of comics as well. Their plans for this year include going on various field trips and going to Comicon in Denver. This club is in the baby stages of its development after talking to one of the newest members of the club, Jacob Santos. He hasn't shown up to any meetings yet but wants to start bringing in some of his comics for his other peers to read. He feels that he has a lot to contribute to the club.
