Declan Brown Entry #1

A challenge I had this summer was going to the Villanova football camp at the end of the summer while being sick. At the beginning of the camp I was not doing too well and I started to feel sorry for myself. I started to pick up my play after our first break and I realized the opportunity I had at this camp. After the camp I talked to my recruiting coach at Villanova and they really liked me and are now actively recruiting me. Shortly after the camp, I went on a campus tour with one of the priests we know at the school. He also happens to be the assistant athletic director too. I had a really good time with him on the tour and I didn’t let my sickness get to me. I also went to the Yale football camp to and they challenged me to try and get a 27 on my ACT and if I do I earn myself a spot on the team. This is a future challenge for me that is coming up quickly and I look forward to completing this challenge and having a wonderful opportunity to go to a prestigious school like Yale.

This photo has good composition because it uses repetition. I took this picture in the weight room with all of the racks lined up against a mirror so it gets twice the repetition. There is also good balance in the photo because there is something happening in all parts of the picture but it is still centralized on one thing.
